I'm attempting to do a nude painting in the style of Titian (in short, a greyscale underpainting followed by colour glazes). I started it using "real" oil paints but very quickly remembered how much their slow drying time frustrates me. I considered trying acrylics, but their fast drying time frustrates me almost as much. So I've dug out the Genesis paints again. It will be interesting to see if I can do this style of painting with them given that they are mostly opaque. I have to say, so far, so good, and I'm really enjoying working with them again :)
This one is only small - 10"x8", so there won't be loads of detail. This is much more about learning the technique, which is why I haven't bothered to correct the poor placement of the figure on the canvas (cut off head and foot).
