Biography

From age 12 until well into my 30′s, computer programming was pretty much my whole life, first as a hobby and then as a profession.  I was successful, and I was very good, but I was not happy.

While channel surfing one day I happened across the show “Simply Painting with Frank Clarke” and couldn’t resist giving watercolour painting a try.  Although my early paintings were far from masterpieces, it was a compelling hobby that grew into an obsession and is now on the verge of becoming a career.

I do my best work when I’m painting something I’m truly inspired by, and for that reason I rarely accept commissions.  I choose not to specialise in any particular medium or subject, preferring the vitality and spontaneity of following the muse wherever she leads me.  My work may not be consistent, but with luck, it will never be dull :)
